Yep school is in session!!! ;) Its going to be so much fun!!! And of course I get to be the principal/head mistress...can you say big ruler?? Yep, I'll be ready with my glasses on and big ruler ready to slap anyone on the hand if the get out of line...LOL

And of course Bad Girls Sept kit is up!! Its just soooo flippin gorgeous!!!! LIKE O-M-G!!!! ;)

And this Wed- my new baby niece, Alyssa was born!!!! She is so tiny (I know 8.5lbs is not so tiny, but compared to my 36lbs 2 year-old baby boy- she is!) I am so excited to have a new baby in the family!!!! And my other niece Kayla (her big sis) is just so proud and beaming from ear to ear...hope it will last through all those sleepless nights...:P

Here's a random question...does anyone have any potty training advise?? Yeah, yeah, I know I have a 4 year-old I potty trained- but that was two years ago!.... and Caleb is KILLIN me with his desire NOT to be in diapers....

Here's the thing, he does NOT go peepee in the potty...nope- he just rips off his diaper and stands at the toilet, for umm...a whole 2 seconds and proclaims- DONE! then flushes the toilet before I can stop him. Then he puts his pull-up back on...but oh no! not right away! He proceeds to run around the house nakeeed bragging - I went peepee in the potteee!!! Yeah so not true, little man....so not true!

Most of me thinks he is too young, I want to wait till he is exactly 2.5- he is just not very consistent and still wakes up with a soaked diaper!

Well that's the end of my rant...glad I can air this on the public web...yep nothin like those potty stories...

Oh- I made this cute little book for Jacob yesterday!!!
Piggy Tales came out with the cutest little "barndoors" at Summer CHA- and immediately I thought of the lift-the-flap books! It was super easy and best of all, Jacob just LOVES it!!! :D

And here is a total girlie mini-book (gosh I love making girlie stuff) for my BF- Holly! Using some fabulous Bad Girl goodies!!!! (Aug kit and add-on!)

I love Mondays!!!! They are my Saturdays! :) Matt is off and we get to go and have fun-

Today we went to a birthday party, went out to dinner, and then to the park- not crazy fun- but hey tomorrow is our "Sunday"!!!!! :)

Here are some pics of last week- we went to a water park. Of course it was a random visit so the boys just had their regular shorts on. I thought the boys would be ecstatic to run through the water, but they barely got their feet wet! Very strange...very strange!!! :P

Here's a random pic of the boys at the beach a few weeks ago- just found it on my puter and loved how relaxed they look!!!

Can you tell how cold it is too?!!! Yep, SF beaches can be so cooooold even in the dead of summer!!! Oh and that is Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

I'm in a colorful mood lately- esp with these summer pics!!!

Oh and here is one I had to do- of us being the PARTY girls that we are!!! We just love going dancing!!! ;)

Oh man! Where did the time go?!!! I blinked and July flew by...I wish summer was 6 months long! :P

All the moms I know are looking forward to school starting, well...I'm NOT!!! You kiddin me?! Getting up at 7am and having to actually function?!!! Uhhh...no thanks! :P

Too bad I have no choice- Jacob is really excited though, this will be his second year at preschool so he will be going 3 times a week, I guess I can handle it, huh? ;)

Just to make you girls drool (esp you Wendy!) and prove how girly I truely am, here is my latest purchase:

Went shopping the other night with my girl Lisa- she bought some hot-looking-black-pointy-stilletto heels, and well I just had to get me the most girly pink shoes I could find! ;)

Being the matchy matchy (Lisa's term) scrapper that I am, I can't say I wasn't severely in shock! I've never used so many different paper lines!!! But hey, Wendy pushed me out of my box- WAAAAY out!! I am left here cold and shivering but ready not to conform!!! Oh and being out of the box is kinda fun too.... :P

Have I lost my mind?! :P

Nope...just sitting here on a lovely Saturday afternoon, all dolled up for a Girls' Night out...waiting for my hubby to get off work... :)

Its been a looooong week....Matt's been getting home late, so that means- SINGLE MOM!!! ;) I think most cop wives are SUM= Single-Unavailable-Moms (right?)

Anyways...

Jacob turned four last Sunday!!! Instead of breakfast---I made him 4 mini-cupcakes- I also decorated the whole family room with a h-bday banner and balloons!!

That sure made his day!!! And later on met Matt at Chucky Cheeses' for dinner...I haven't been to one of those in awhile...man what a place!!! Of course germ-o-phobe me was chasing the kids with the purrell the whole time...LOL- hey in my defense, I kept seeing kids coughing and wiping their noses on their sleeves!!! YUCK!!! But I did survive my first Chucky Cheese experience with the boys...hopefully it will be awhile for my next one! ;)

We had a wonderful July 4th!! Of course it was 106deg!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I would literally melt!!!! Thankfully our first BBQ was indoors...that's what I'm talkin about!!! ;)

After our second BBQ- we headed out to watch the fireworks- it was amazing!!! I don't know what it is about fireworks that gets to me...but it always does. I feel like a little girl again! Oh and the boys loved them too...it wasn't all about mommy (at least this time...LOL)

Summer days...

Lazy days??? Not so much over here!!! :P

I feel like a ping pong on most days, bouncing back and forth- swimming lessons, shopping, home, BBQs, and the list goes on and on and on and on... :P

Oh and celebrated FIVE years of marriage!!! Doesn't sound like a lot- which is fine cuz it means we are still in the Honeymoon period (I really like this period!) Here's a pic of me with my Hottie Cop!!! ;)

So the boys planted these sunflower seeds a few weeks ago and they've grown so fast! Both Caleb and Jacob wake up every morning excited to water their flowers!

Decorated these pots with cute Piggy Tales paper- the boys helped of course!

Oh and just if you ever wondered...if your troublemaker toddler sticks a paintbrush full of Mod Podge in his mouth, its NOT lethal.... (no names mentioned) LOL

HUGE news!!! My good friend's Wendy Rago's kit club debuted today!!!! Its called Bad Girls Kits and it is F-A-B-ulous!!!!!!! Not only is the site rockin, I got a chance to work with the kit and I gotta say its my favorite kit EVA'!!!! JAM-packed for sure!!! ;)

I'm alive!!!! I got the good ol' flu a few weeks ago...UGHHHH - I thought I was on my death bed...even asked my hubby what he would do with my scrappy stuff if I died, and he immediately said he would toss it all!!!! OMG!!! He is totally crazy!!! So I made him promise me to divide it among my friends...did I mention I was just a tad delirious through my sickness? :P

Baby fever is gone...

Here's the thing, I've always been a "baby person"! I really LOVE babies- maybe even more than any other stage...that is until now...

Caleb is two, and no longer a baby. And somehow in the last month has grown up immensely! He is a total little boy!

And you know what- OMG----its SO MUCH easier!!! I have two boys, that play together, entertain each other, and are heck of a lot more independent than they were last year.

So yeah, I wouldn't trade my spirited toddler for a quiet little baby! ;)

For the meantime, I get to play with babies and photograph them for an hour and send them home with their mommies! :)

Its been two months....whoa! :P

Just hangin out here...Doing my thing! :)

Let's see...Caleb turned two this month!!! Holy Moley! I can't believe my baby is a little boy!!! But you know what, as much as I thought I'd be traumatized, having two boys is MUCH easier than having two babies! They play so much better now, and Caleb is much more independent- hey I can even go to the bathroom withOUT him!!!

We've been to the beach about 3 times in one month!!! Gotta say, we are a family of Beach-Bums!!!

Back from CHA!!!! And Lisa and I managed to get home...yeah sure we took more than 7hrs to drive home, mostly because we were on the WRONG freeway!!! LOL!!! (we pretty much got lost EVERYwhere we drove- seriously...)

I admit that even though we only were at the show for a few hours on Sunday and all day on Monday, I was just exhausted!!! (and a little relieved I didn't have to work a booth)

Met lots of online friends, a lot of them by just running into them! It was just so fun!! But I didn't get to meet everyone I had hoped for!

The one celebrity I was star-struck by was.... AMY BUTLER!!!!!! OMG- I was just in awe!!! And I had to get a picture- she is one cute and TALL girl! ;)

A new year...

We had a low-key few friends party- so much fun!!!!!!!! :D

As for resolutions??? I haven't written any down yet, so here it goes off the top of my head...

1. Get organized
2. Stop being such a packrat
3. Spend more time with my friends
4. Spend less time online
5. Loose these 8 holiday pounds and keep them off!
6. Spend more quality time with each of the boys- alone
7. Expand my photography
8. Back up all my pics from my computer
9. Get more involved in church
10. Stop eating so much sugar

Ahhh...so I did it...I wrote my resolutions...now let's see how many I can keep come next year! ;)

Christmas is over!!!!!!!!!! :(

Chrismas is by far my most favorite holiday!!! I just LOVE shopping, decorating, cooking, and eating! ;) This year was just so much FUN!!!

It was the first year I got to play "Santa" with Jacob. At 3 years old, he finally got it! :) He was so excited to go see Santa, then make him some cookies Christmas Eve, he even made us put out the fire so that Santa wouldn't get burnt! LOL!!!

Jacob woke up almost at 8am and had forgotten what day it was! LOL!!! When we reminded him, he immediately ran downstairs and proceeded to say "WOW" like a hundred times!! LOL!!

So I did finally get my tree up, my presents bought and wrapped and my cards sent.... :P

I'm such a procrastinator- but hey when it comes down to the wire, I always get it done...somehow! :P

I don't want to post a complete picture of my tree....why? Because there is a HUGE section that does NOT have any decorations...THANKS TO CALEB!!! LOL!!! He is obsessed with the ornaments!!! He broke one the other day- he pulled off a glass ball, proceeded to call it "BALL" and threw it against the wall!!! Ughhhh...what a character!!!!

Its been so much fun going to all the Christmas parties!!! Getting together with family I rarely get to see and getting an opportunity to party with my closest friends....yep...its been a blast!!! :)

I wish I had had more time to make handmade gifts!!! Matt and my mom were the only ones who got them this year! Can you tell whose is whose?? :P

What a fun filled week...

Yeah...fun...a whole week incubated with four of us sick...fun times.... :P

No Disneyland, but I did get to do a really fun ride called "Midnight Drive to the Emergency Room" LOL!!! YEah, real fun, huh??? :P Poor Caleb had that "croup" cough and couldn't breathe, so off I went to the ER!!! Who needed Disneyland??? :P

Other than that...we went to Matt's uncle's house for Thanksgiving---good times, good times!

Obviously Caleb had no problems chowing down the turkey, sick as he was! LOL!!! That boy can eat!!!!

And then after a week of being couped up in the house, we headed to the California Academy of Sciences on Sunday! The boys had a BLAST!!! Caleb's favorite was the aquarium and Jacob was in love with the dinosaur exhibit.

And in scrappy news....I'm in IP HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came home today to a huge box of all the Imagination Project new releases!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! Can I say Y*U*M*M*Y???!!!!!!!!

So here I go...off to create!!!!!!!!! :D

This weekend...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! (or belated!:P)

I had a wonderful weekend full of Halloween festivities!!! :D

For my birthday (26- yeah bayyybeee!) we did dinner and a surprise Halloween party (all in full costume! LOL!)!! IGoood times....gooood times!! But there is no way I'm going to post any photos---its just too incriminating!!! :P

Now yesterday we went trick or treating with the boys---and it was Caleb's first time really enjoying it...he had a BLAST!!!

And I know I'm partial, but he looked absolutely adorable in his Squirt costume!!! ;) He looked so cute in fact that he got DOUBLE the candy that Jacob got!! LOL!!! What can I say, he knows how to work it! ;)

The only thing is...that darn flash bugs the heck out of me!!! ***insert angry face here***

Oh how I wish for a speedlite flash!! ;)

So I took a break of about 10 days of NO scrappin...which would be no big deal except this hasnt' happened in I-don't-know-when!!! :P

It was nice, and you know what?? I was ITCHING to start scrapping again!!! But that was why I forced myself to STEP AWAY...my mojo and desire were gone...

NOW I'M BACK BAYBEEE...LOL not sure about the mojo, but the desire is definitely there! ;) Its only Wed and since Monday I've completed FOUR layouts!!! (a lot for me!!!) :D

Its been a heck of a month since my last post...

1. Hubby started police academy and now lives at his parent's house during the week (the commute from our house is waaaay too long)

2. Moved twice (LONG story) and well, ended up right where I started!!!

3. Caleb was really sick with the stomach flu, it was so sad!

4. No internet OR phone for about 3 weeks during my 2 moves

5. Been having a hard time not seeing Matt during the week, and the boys (Jacob esp) is taking it really hard! :(

6. My scrapping got really simple, all I have is pictures and some paper I've managed to unpack!!! LOL!!!

7. And news of today...I got Honorable Mention for the Junkitz DT!!! There were only 3 DTs and 5 Honorable Mentions chosen!!! I felt so honored!!! :)

8. Oh and I just FINALLY changed my banner!!!

9. And added a boat load of pics on my photo blog

I swear I didn't give up bloggin!!! Just got lazy that's all!!!

I haven't been really good at the commitment thing lately- why?

CUZ SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!!!!!!!!

(sorry to shout!) I really love Summer- I know its not technically summer yet, but the weather is summertime weather- so I get to wear my cropped pants, cute tops, and SANDALS!!! :) I just love cute strappy sandals!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY LOOOOVE!!!! Of course I don't wear them at home, I can't see myself changing diapers and making dinner in cute stiletto sandals, can you? But the second I get to run errands or meet up with friends on they go!!!!! :)

I've been even more lazy with my scrappin lately- I still like it, just not as crazy about it...I really think its the weather! I can't handle staying home when I could be out!!! And I am so bad at checking my email or any other computer activity!!! OOPS!!! That means no more submitting to mags or manf anymore- but hey- I don't make it whether I apply or not!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! See, that's my main reasoning!!!! ;)

Haven't written in about two weeks...why?

Well I've just been having fun!!! :)

Don't feel like scrapping or staying at home! The weather has been perfect and everyday we either are at the pool or go out downtown Walnut Creek with friends!

So I'm doing the bare minimum scrapping- just meeting deadlines- nothing else! And it feels good!!!! If I could I would probably take this whole summer off from scrapping, how nice would that be??? ;)

Anyways...

National Scrapbook Day is Saturday, and I'm off to 4 stores to do make-n-takes for Quickutz! Should be fun!!! And afterwood looking forward to a nice long date night!!! (in laws have the kiddos for the weekend!) :D

I've scrapped four layouts in the last week! And two were just for me! :D Too fun! Sometimes I dread scrapping and sometimes I can't wait to get my paper out and play!

Its a love hate relationship!!!

We had a good Easter- I'll post some pics later

I've been doing photo shoots with my friends' kids and they love the pics- which just make my day! And after everyone's encouragement I've decided to start taking some photography courses and internship with a local photographer to learn the "ropes". Matt is totally supportive and excited for me. It will take me awhile to get to "professional photographer" status but I will love every minute of the journey! :D

The boys are doing great- Caleb is getting to be a little stinker when I try to take pics of him! UGHHH!! LOL!!! He just crawls away! Jacob, I bribe with fruit snacks! ;) Its great! Jacob is fully potty trained- HORRAY!!!! I guess I need to change my banner now, huh?

Nothin new in the scrappin world- I had mentioned I applied for the 3 bugs DT, and I made Honorable Mention- which I was actually shocked to make! LOL! Some of my friends made the DT so I was excited for them! Now off to try out for the Cherry Arte DT call- why? Cuz I love rejection, don't you know?!!! ;)

Oh! Went to a crop on Saturday night at Suzy's! It was way too much fun!!! Saw a few pubsters there! Libbis, Nicole, and the Garden Girl Mary Grace. Suzy is just hilarious! My abs got a work out from laughing so hard!!!

Lazy Saturday

So excited I get my niece today!!!

Her parents are moving into their new house (4000sq ft!!! HOLY moley!)

So I get to spend the day with my little diva- she is just hilarious. Whenever I feel the need for a daughter, I just borrow her! ;)

Other than that, nothin much...

Decided to enter the 3 Bugs DT contest, but everyone and their mother and their grandmother did too...LOL!!!

My stuff is poop, so no hopes here- but since I had them, it took 2 minutes to email them in- can't lose anything for trying, right?

Oh and I'm tired of California- a little jealous of my BIL buying a HUGE new million dollar house... we are getting cramped here and just don't have a million dollars laying around for a decent sized house...ughhhh!!! Why does it have to be so flippin expensive here!!!

Matt makes decent money, and in numbers it looks good, but the reality is if you are not making a boat load of money in this area you are broke...LOL!!! I'm comfortable and can still afford (for now) to Stay at home with the kiddos, but it would be so nice to never give a care about money (esp after paying those FRIGHTFUL property taxes!).

Enough ranting, I'll never move anyways- LOL!

And I'm so thankful to be happy, loved, and a wonderful family. I am rich!

Back from San Diego

We are back!!! What an emotional weekend... we left early Saturday (6am) and drove for NINE AND A HALF hours!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH- talk about loooooong trip!!! Jacob was amazing though, he did not once whine or get restless!!! I just think that's amazing for a 2 year old- esp since I was beyond restless! LOL!

So we got there and visited Matt's uncle's wife and children, it was hard... they all had this glazed look and most of the women's eyes were swollen. But they were all so friendly and acted like it was more of a family reunion.

Then that night- Jacob and my niece Kayla were jumping on the hotel bed- well I specifically told everyone I did NOT want Jacob jumping on the bed and got him off... well a few minutes later when I turned my back they had LET him jump on the bed! And Kayla's tooth came down on Jacob's nostril and sliced it!!!!! There was so much blood... and everyone was in panic mode... I just went in and comforted Jacob and stopped the bleeding... we then had to take him to the ER- and thankfully he was able to get it bonded (kinda like superglue) instead of stitches- poor little guy though!!! :( He is such a strong boy though, he must have cried for less than half a minute when it happened and not until we had to pin him down for the ER doc to bond it... I can only imagine the pain and discomfort he had to deal with!

This pic I took today- FOUR days after it happened- it is healing so well thank God!! I did not want to post a pic of it when it just happened, it was so awful...

Sad news...

Last Saturday while in Utah, I called Matt to check in and he had told me his Uncle Clark passed away that same day. I was just in shock- he was in his mid fifties and full of life. He had an unexpected heart attack.

It didn't hit me till I came across his pictures in our wedding album:

Its so strange to see these pictures knowing that we will never see that smile or hear that laughter again.

Clark was a wonderful father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and CHRISTIAN. So I am confident that he in heaven.

We are leaving tomorrow morning to attend his funeral in San Diego, and I'm a little nervous. If I'm emotional now not sure I'll be able to keep my cool at his funeral...and to see all his sons and daughters- esp his grandchildren- I'm already getting choked up thinking about it.

So keep us all in your prayers esp for his immediate family that they may find comfort in this time of sadness and extreme loss.

Quickutz Retreat details!!!!

OMG- the whole weekend was just a blast!!! I haven't had so much fun in awhile!!!

I arrived in Salt Lake City around 4pm and immediately spotted Andrea (QK DT coordinator) with a group of girls- we all collected our bags and headed to some vans. I was in the "magnesium" colored van driven by Heather (QK product development)- still not sure what color magnesium is though!!! LOL!!! Heather is an absolute doll!!! She was so friendly and would give us loads of info on the city!

We arrived in the hotel, had a chance to unpack before heading out to dinner. Not all the DT crew had met, so I was totally looking forward to it. We had dinner at the Brick Oven restaurant that was SUPER yummy and got to meet the rest of the DT. It was so much fun!

We headed back to our hotel and called it a night, well about then the last DT girl was dropped off- my roomie LESLIE!!!! Poor thing had an awful time getting to SLC because of storms in her area! But she settled right in and we talked till wee hours of the night- she is just SOOOO MUCH fun and too cute!!!!!

OK- now it FRIDAY-
Ate breakfast at the hotel and headed to get our tour of the Quickutz plant. HOLY MOLEY it takes a butt load of work to make dies!!!!!!!!!! I was just shocked!!!! I had always thought of Quickutz product as pricey- but NOT anymore!!! It takes about 4 weeks to get dies made and to shipping!!!!!!!!!!!! So I look at it all in a new light!!! ;)

We then got back in the conference room and started our classes- Basically all the DT members prepared a double 6x6 page defining their style and about them. So in other words we were to complete a circle album in a few hours! ;) We all premade our pages so that it wouldn't take 15 minutes per person. It was fun! I am just IN LOVE with my little album. Everyone had such gorgeous pages and unique style, I now see why we were all chosen for this team!

We had lunch and got our head shots taken by the FAB Kelli Noto, hope she can photoshop mine a little...LOL...I had the worst pimple on my forehead!!! :P

OMG- I almost forgot to mention the GIVEAWAYS!!!!!!!!!!! Every 10 minutes Andrea would give us ALL- yes ALL whole product lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And above that draw our names for even MORE FREE STUFF!!!!!!!!!!! I am just still in shock!!! I'll post a pic below of all our stuff...it felt like I was at the Oprah show- LOL!!!

We went to dinner at this YUMMY YUMMY restaurant- can't recall the name though...had the chicken marsala and it was just to die for!!! Got a little crazy at dinner and I had thought I scared Mark and Natasha the QK founders, but they were just the sweetest and great sports! ;) Yeah me and Syb are now the crazy {bloody} California girls!!!!!!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

After we got the the hotel, we went to the conference room that QK had reserved for us- how cool is that?! We all brought our books to exchange and write in...felt like a high school yearbook! LOL!!! I did more talking than writing...imagine that?!!! LOL!!!

SATURDAY----
Went back to the QK headquarters for our focus groups which gave us some sneak peaks of the stuff coming out- and OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!! I am just itching like a mad dog to get it all!!!!!!!! WOW is all I can say- some of those alphas esp have me so anxious.... ;)

We then split up in three groups and designated LSS to do make and takes- I ended up with Shannon and Linda with Michelle leading us. We went to the KMA store!!! I was so excited!!! I did HAVE to buy some KMA paper- how could I not?!!!! The make and take was so much fun, unfortunately I had had too much coffee and I think I was too energetic!!! I might have talked some poor unsuspecting victims' ears off!!! :P

We headed for lunch at this YUMMY Mexican restaurant- I think its called Cafe Rio...??? Then headed to two more LSS for shopping- Pebbles and Forget me not.

Before dinner we went to see some waterfalls by Sundance- I am awful at names and can't remember what it was called...:P

OMG dinner was just amazing!!! Guess what it was??? SUSHI!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE sushi!!!! :D Oh wow- I was so stuffed!!!

Again we all went to the conference room at the hotel for our last night together... :( BUT OMG- I laughed soooo hard I cried!!! Shanna lived up to her promise...and Kelli managed to explain to Yoriko what "sharted" was!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah...good times...

SUNDAY-
Woke up too early esp since me and Leslie talked the night away (I warned you I was a chatterbox- Leslie!) and headed to the Tabernacle choir- I was awestruck---wow!!! That has to be the biggest organ pipes in the world! We walked around Temple square, and the temple is just BEEEEAUTIFUL!!! Again I was awestruck!

We were taken to this beautiful plaza hotel for a breakfast brunch...and it was just yummilicious- and yes that is a word- I just made it up, so there!

It was so sad having to hug all the girls goodbye, we all started dwindling down, and were dropped off at the airport soon after. Spent some time with the last of the crew and had such a fun/crazy time...I still am convinced the bystanders must have thought I was a nutcase- I was standing on a chair to take pics of Linda and Syb being crazy...at this point we were delierious!!! LOL!!!

Well I'm back from Utah and before I talk about how much fun I had on my trip, I gotta let out a sigh...I'M HAPPY TO BE ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

Well...it all started with the storm on Sunday...it was snowing and my flight got a little delayed...well about 15 minutes in the air- something happened! They hit some HORRIBLE HORRIBLE turbulence- it was more than turbulence- I don't know how to describe it!

Suddenly the plane started dipping and shaking uncontrollably- some of the overhead bins popped open and people walking in the aisles where thrown around. Kids started crying, and a teenager yelled "we're going to die!" in a sarcastic tone, but there was nothing funny about it. All the passengers where in panic mode...the captain spoke on the intercom and let us know everything was undercontrol, while I detected a nervous tone in his voice!

All the flight attendants sat in their seat with their seat belts on and I could see the worry in their face.

And here I am, I've always been so carefree about flying, never a worry in my head. And all I could think of is my two boys and Matt...would I ever see them again??? Is this all a dream? I have never prayed so hard- I repeated the same prayer over and over again---Please God help us...Please God help us...

I still look back at the experience and it seems like a movie- me in the back of the plane in my window seat just closing my eyes trying to tune out all the crying of kids and air of panic...

This "turbulence" went on for about 15 minutes- it seemed more like hours though. When it was over, we all still were not sure---we wanted to be relieved but were almost expecting it return...

When the flight landed, there was clapping, cheering and everyone started hugging anyone near them, I've never seen anything like it! I rushed out to baggage claim and the second I saw my 3 boys, I started to cry- I had remained so calm and collected during this whole ordeal, but I lost it right there and then. I look in my husbands eyes and just felt so blessed, I was SO HAPPY to be in his arms! He was very confused but just held me as I sobbed in his arms...it was a few minutes when I turned and saw the boys- and I just held each of them and thanked God for that second chance to be here with them.

I've never had a near death experience, and I'm not sure if this classifies, but what happened that Sunday afternoon on flight 352 has changed me. And I look at my boys and know that everyday with them is a gift not to be taken for granted.

UTAH here I come!!!!!!!!!

Thursday morning I head to Utah!!!! QUICKUTZ RETREAT baybeeee!!!!

I am so excited!!!! I get to meet all the cool, talented, super-sweet girls of the design team!!! The whole weekend is filled with activities and from what I hear, they are going to PAMPER US!!! :O I am in desperate need for some pampering!!! LOL!!!

It will be so nice to get away for four days...no laundry to do, no diapers to change, no cooking...AHHHHHH....my family will be missed- MUCH, but absence makes the heart go stronger!!! ;) LOL!!!

Caleb's one...oh my!!!

I'll be okay, at least I hope so...

Everyday I hope he can just stay my little baby for just a little bit longer- just about one or two more years, that's all! Is that just a little selfish? Probably, but I don't care!

Its true, there is something so precious and loveable about a baby. Their belly laughs, two-teeth grins, endless cuddles, babbles, and those chunky legs and arms- OMG- I definitely am not ready for this to pass me by in a few months!!!! (sniff...sniff...) I WANT MY BABY TO STAY A BABY!!!!! There I said it...now call me crazy, call me weird, call me selfish, but saying it still won't make it happen!!! And no, I'm not going to "baby" him till he's in college!!! LOL!!! Even I'm not that crazy!!! ;)

Yep Caleb is one today... and I'm trying so hard to hold it together! I mean what kinda mom is depressed on her son's first birthday?? They are going to send me to the funny farm after this one!

I just look at the picture above and can just close my eyes and smell that newborn baby, I can hear his soft little breaths, and see him rooting around looking for food. This is my last baby. And just the thought of this has me in tears. Why did this year fly by so fast?!!! I tried and tried to savor every minute of it, but somehow I was hoping this day wouldn't come yet.

I'm trying to hold it together, I just don't want him to grow up, at least not yet. He is still my little baby, at least till he turns two right?

Still can't believe he is one today... I picked him up out of his crib, he was standing up babblin, and I looked at that sweet little face, with drool on his chin, big baby cheeks, and his huge smile- and just hugged him and cried. I'm telling you- I'm crazy!!! I just held him for awhile hoping when I turned back and looked at him, he wouldn't be a grown man!!! Seriously, is that how it happens?! They turn one, then they turn twenty-one?!!!

Well, for now, I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful baby, full of joy and love.... and I'm going to savor every second of life with him....

Well I haven't updated my blog in awhile... Why? Hmmm....too much stuff on my mind...

Lately I've set my priorities straight.

After CHA, I knew that my goal was NOT to be a professional scrapper, I just don't think its for me. And that said- scrapping should be one of my LAST priorities. Sure I have TONS of deadlines to meet- but they will get met and I will not stress over them.

I just got burnt out three weeks ago, I was stressed trying to meet my QK deadlines. So I did something I RARELY do- I started scrapping during the day. That meant putting on a movie for the boys so I can scrap. I am just utterly ashamed! Here I am, a stay at home mommie ignoring my boys- why? So I can scrap ABOUT THEM? The irony hit me, I can't scrap about how much I love them, when I'm scrapping rather than spending time with them.

So it had to stop- I would rather spend time with my family any day than scrap, or go out to lunch or have a girl's night with my friends. Scrapping is not life to me. And I haven't been this happy and relaxed in a long time.

That and I took up drinking coffee again! ;) LOL!!! Wow- talk about jump starting my motivation!!! I have the energy to play with the kids and clean and cook and spend quality time with Matt. And also scrap at night! ;) Coffee is my new love! ;)

Enough rambling--its the coffee I tell you!!!

Here it is...my hubby's Valentine card- I just had NO idea what to get him, so yesterday morning I worked all morning to make this-- I want to say I spent all day on it- but nope...made it in less than two hours...actually feel guilty about that! Well, I handwrote most of it and doodled a lot which made it fast and simple!

But he absolutely loved it---his face just lit up the room when he looked through it!!! That made me so giddy and grateful for a husband that would appreciate my handmade work- and that was better than any Valentine's gift he could give me!! (that new lens he got me was pretty nice too!)

I JUST started my 11 projects for Quickutz on TUES night!!! :O

WHAT was I thinking?? I've had this nasty cold and just could not force myself to scrap- plus my mojo had been off since CHA- all that product viewing for 4 days did it! :P

So it is due Friday- that is it should be there on Friday!!!

So Tues night I finished a measly THREE cards in four hours!!! Yep---my mojo was totally not on!

That meant yesterday I had to bust my booty to finish the last eight- Sheesh!!!! I did about 3 during the day- which is just not very doable with two little ones- and finally at 3am finished!!!!

AHHHH!!!! I'm done...yep they were sent overnight today! :D

Am I the WORST procrastinator or WHAT?!!!

Now I have two more projects do tomorrow- so back to work for me it is!

Boy do I miss chit chatting on the computer :(

FINISHED my 20 projects last night!!!!!!!! WOW-still can't believe I did it...

I now feel completely burnt out...if I don't scrap in one month, that will be fine by me!!!

Not sure what to do, esp since I have 2 LOs due by tomorrow and 6 by next week... :O

Just gotta stay prioritized!!!! That and remember CHA is coming up~~~~~ VEGAS BAYBEEEE!!!

Been at home most of the week and the natives are getting restless...seriously, this is what I get for always going out with the boys everyday. When I do have to stay home for more than a day- they get really antsy and ANNOYING!!! Well mostly Jacob, Caleb is still my little angel. I was this close___ to selling Jacob on ebay today...hmmm...wonder how much he would go for...J/K!! I don't blame the poor little guy! Tomorrow I will take them somewhere, plus this momma needs some Shopping therapy!!! ;)

We are back!!! We went to Tahoe for two days/one night...we wanted to stay longer but there was risk of the roads closing due to a huge storm tonite!!! SO, yep, we decided to get out while we still could!!! LOL!!!

Jacob had a blast out in the snow- last year he was not even a year and a half and just looked miserable out there...so I was a little worried...but nope- he seemed so happy out there!!! He LOVED going down in the sled- called it a "slide"- LOL!!! And he loved tasting the snow!!!

We had a blast!!!

I look at you and I see a little boy...and I am just scared...scared because I don't remember when you became a little boy! You were just a baby, really! You were my happy, content baby that gave me endless snuggles. What happened?? I woke up and here you are...time has flown in light speed, esp after Caleb's birth!

I have been so focused on him being my last baby, I hadn't realized you were growing up so fast.

Tonight as I stare at your picture, there are tears in my eyes, half of me is so proud at the boy you have become. You are truely the most unselfish, well-behaved two year old I know, everyone tells me this too...your gentleness with your brother just swells my heart with so much pride. I love single thing about you.

The other half of me (ok maybe even a little more than that...) wishes I can turn back the time...you are no longer dependent on me...you don't need me to feed you (in the nursing way), diaper you, entertain you, read to you (even though you still like me to, thank God!), be your only friend, and be your voice...somehow this just breaks a little bit of my mommy heart. You see, the first two years of your life esp when it was just you and me, we were so close. You were my momma's boy, and I was yours (well you did have to share me with your Daddy too). Each day waking up to your sweet smiles and constant snuggles was a gift. Teaching you to walk, talk, and play gave me more enjoyment than I had never known...

I'm still not sure when this happened, all I know is that from today on, I will be paying close attention, hoping it doesn't happen again...(fat chance in that, huh?)

I'm ashamed to say its been over a month since my last entry!!! Now its nearly impossible to catch up!!! So I am going to list what has happened in the last month:

1. Went to Disneyland 2nd week of November and had a BLAST!
2. Made the Scrapgirls DT- but am only staying till Dec
3. Got a mini album picked up by Scrapbook Trends-WOOHOO!
4. Went to Asia SF with the girls- its a "gender illusionist" show and club- LOL
5. had Thanksgiving at my house- stressful but fun
6. put up all our Christmas decorations the Friday after Thanksgiving
7. Got a phone call from Monique=Made the Scrap Goddess DT- and lovin it!!!
8. started a MySpace profile and was hooked for two days- thankfully the novelty wore off
9. Went and saw Pride and Predjudice and that is my new fav movie!!!
10. Have not mailed out one Christmas card or wrapped on present to date-panick mode soon to set in....

And I'm blogging!!!!!!!

Pretty fun week...I went trick or treating with the boys on Monday, Tuesday went to my mom's club then out to the mall to meet my cousin. And Wednsday out shopping just me and the boys!!! Since then I have been trying to catch up with housework and scrapping!!!

It feels strange staying home more than a day! I must be the worst stay-at-home mom, I just can't stay at home!!! LOL!!! I get cabin fever way too easily!!!

This weekend should be fun, not too much planned, thank goodness, esp after that crazy month of October!! It seemed like every weekend was jam packed with events and commitments, hopefully we'll take it easy this month, that and eat lots of turkey!!!

Oh my, I love turkey!!! Really really love it!!! That and mashed potatoes...ok, I love all thanksgiving food!!! YUM!!! Can't wait!!!

What a weekend!!! Right now I am nodding, my eyes barely opened...I've gotten 7 combined hours of sleep in 2 days!!!

Where should I start? Oh yeah my birthday! Well Friday I turned the big 25!!!! Yep, I am officially out of my early tweenties...boooohoooohooo.... Oh well!!!

We went out to my favorite restaurant on Friday night and back to Holly's house to change into our costumes. Holly already had the pirate costume that I wore, and goodness was it SHORT!!!! It had slits up the butt!!! Yep, thankfully the stockings helped me feel a little covered, but my butt was still hanging out all night long!!! LOL!!

We got to Clint's house for the party around 10pm and had a blast!!! We danced, we laughed, we drank...it was good times...

Got home about 4am to get up at 7am...I was feeling not so good...I did have a nice long massage before I headed out to Fremont though!!! I went and met an online friend, Emelyn that lives in Newark. And she was a SWEETIE!!! It was so nice meeting her face to face, I felt like I had known her forever!!! After that went to the "Garage" for an 2peas crop and had such a great time!!! Everyone was so friendly and I gotta say they are super talented!!! Yep, I was a little intimidated!!

I'm too tired, I need some sleep...I'll post more details tomorrow!

My neice turned 3 this weekend, and its so weird...they grow up so fast!!!! She looked so pretty in her princess dress, and little tiara!!!

We all had a great time! I made her a mini book and altered box, I don't think it interested her too much but her mom loved it!! LOL!!!

The Sacramento Expo went great, I had so much fun with my online gals!!! We had a blast!!!! Here's the recap:

Meet at Sonda's house at 9am, which even with directions, I managed to get lost...surprised? not really...LOL

Then picked up some Starbucks and headed to the Expo, and at arrival we had all signed up for this canvas tag class- and I guess mine didn't go through because I was NOT registered... :(

(ended up sneaking in, but don't tell... :P) The majority of the booths were very scarry, saw A LOT of die cuts and loud paper!!! Hurt my eyes!! LOL! Did findly find my true love...the 7 GYPSISES booth!!!!! Oooolala!!! I went just {a little} crazy... ;) Everything was super cheap!!

Well after our class, we went to dinner @ Chevy's...and while Chrys was at the restroom we told the waitress that it was her birthday!! LOL!!! Well Sonda couldn't help giggling the whole dinner which would make all of us giggle and make Chrys think we were drunk!!!

Finally out of the blue, and surprising all of us, the waiter gang came over with the big Chevy's sombrero to sing her a happy birthday...you should've seen her face!!! It was classic!! LOL!!!

YAY!!! The weekend is here!!! I had a very boring week...not much went on, I did scrap my little heart out though, completed 4 LOs and 1 mini book from Mon-Thrusday. I usually start scrapping around 11pm, even if I don't feel like it, once I sit down, I can at least complete one LO...but my rule is no scrapping on Friday nights. Its my night off!!! LOL!!

OMG!!! I got a cool email today...it was from Scrapbook Trends (scrapbook magazine) informing me that one of my layouts was accepted for publication!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Its for this idea book Fast & Fabulous that will come out in Jan or Feb of next year. I am so excited!! Getting emails like these make me want to submit my work more. I am trying to keep up with all the calls, but goodness, its exhausting!! What I've been doing lately is just submitting work that I've done previously that fits the call...

Well this layout was the one I did last night again with TSS kit, I really love this line of paper, hated to use it up!!! LOL!!

Tomorrow I'm off to the Sacramento Expo and will see some online scrapping buddies!! Can't wait!!!

I stayed up till 3am finishing this project...of course I didn't start till midnight..shame on me...

Nothing much new this week, last week was unbelievable crazy, this week is so much better. I am heading out today and have my mom's day off day...every week my mother-in-law takes the kids for about 4-5 hours, and I am able to do what I want!!! Isn't that great??? It really renews my spirits after being stuck in the house with two boys all week. NOt that I don't love being a SAHM, but it can get very monotonous sometimes. I really look forward to these days...

Well after a really busy weekend, I've got to say that my favorite part was dressing up for Matt's reunion!!! I got to borrow my friend Holly's BCBG dress that was just gorgeous!!

I loved every second I was wearing it, and felt so glamourous in it!!! It was so "flowey" and elegant....ahhhh....

But anyways Matt 10 year reunion went really well! I danced the whole night while he mingled with his old buddies, worked out perfect!! And the next day he got to meet his ex girlfriend that he hadn't seen in over 7 years! He tried to talk to her but she seemed kinda uncomfortable with him...weird! So he gave up!

Well that was my weekend, now time to start my week...ughh...

I sent about 3 LOs that fitted their call, and got "the" email!!!!!!!! My first time published!!! Now I know why girls submit, its such a rush to get your work requested!!!

Really want to know???

Well usually I think of all sorts of deep issues in my life...but today all I was thinking about was this weekend. Very interesting weekend I've got going on...Tomorrow is our date night, Saturday is Matt's 10yr reunion, and Sunday we are having dinner with Matt's ex girlfriend...

So mainly my thoughts were on what dress I was going to wear to the reunion...I want something sexy!! LOL!! My friend has a cute BCBG halter dress that I might borrow, or I have a red strapless Bebe one I could wear...Decisions, decisions...ok, now what shoes??? Do I want wow shoes or comfortable shoes? There will be dancing so I definitely want to be able to dance the night away...how about both??? I'll leave the comfy ones under the table!!! LOL

What to do for tomorrow night?? Where should we go for dinner??? Hmmmm...that Thai restaurant sounds yummy...then should we do a movie??? What movie??

I am spending a whole afternoon with Kristen, Matt's ex!! I can't wait for him to see her...he hasn't seen her in 7 years. (I met her when we went to Vegas) Wonder what he thinks...I don't think she has aged well at all...sorry God...didn't mean that...well yes I did....

Well that's enough insight in my mind!!! LOL!!! Sorry it was so shallow, I was too tired to ponder any deep issues of life...

Well last night after watching Desperate Housewives I actually got off

Today I have not been out of the house!! ::gasp:: Didn't make it to church or our traditional Sunday brunch... :(

I felt soo sick this morning all I could think about is staying in bed...I finally got up at 11am and have been sitting around the house ever since.

I REALLY despise being sick! Yeah its awful feeling so awful, but what I really hate is the lack of motivation I have to do anything! I haven't scrapped since Wednesday, and I have about two LOs I started and need to finish. But I look at my stuff and just have NO motivation to do it. Ordinarily unfinished LOs drive me crazy, I can't handle not finishing them. But these past few days I'd rather sit on the couch than create...

UGGHHHH!!! Enough ranting and raving, Jacob is obsessed with this little stuffed dog he has. He makes him do everything. Yep, this little dog gets his diaper changed, eats, sleeps, and even colors with Jacob! LOL!! Its pretty cute!!!

Lazy Saturday

I actually hate lazy Saturdays. To me weekends should be fun and exciting. Something to do, something to see.

But here I am in front of the computer...ughhhh!!! I have had this blasted stomach flu for three days now, and I am not liking it one bit!!! It hasn't hit me too hard, but its still very uncomfortable. I'll spare you the details!!! LOL!!

The one good thing is I think I lost some weight!!! As long as my butt doesn't keep dissappearing!! What is it about having kids that make your body change so much. Granted I am so happy to be back to my normal weight, but my butt gets flatter and flatter!!! This is NOT a good thing either! I used to be so proud of my ghetto booty, now I have droopy jeans in the butt area....:( My friend suggested I need to do squats to build up butt muscle...LOL!! I can't even do one sit up a day, not sure if I will have the time or motivation for squats!!!

Well, I'm off to the showers (I know its 3pm!) and get ready, I at least to need to go SOMEwhere today!!!
